How to see and cancel subscriptions on your iPhone
The short answer
Open Settings, tap your name at the top, then tap Subscriptions. You'll see every subscription billed to your Apple Account, active ones first and expired ones below. Tap one and choose Cancel Subscription, which may be at the bottom of the screen. If a subscription you pay for isn't on the list, Apple isn't billing it: check your bank statement for the company that is.

Find your subscriptions on an iPhone or iPad
- Open Settings.
- Tap your name at the top.
- Tap Subscriptions.
You can also get there from the App Store app: tap your profile picture in the top-right corner, then Subscriptions.
Each subscription shows its price, how often it renews and the date of the next charge. Expired subscriptions stay listed underneath, which is handy when you're trying to work out what an old charge was.
Cancel a subscription
- In Subscriptions, tap the subscription.
- Tap Cancel Subscription. Apple notes you might need to scroll down to find the button.
- Confirm.
After cancelling, you can usually keep using the subscription until the end of the period you've already paid for. If there's no cancel button, or you see an expiry message in red, the subscription is already cancelled and won't renew.
On a Mac, a Windows PC or the web
- Mac: open the App Store, click your name in the sidebar, then Subscriptions, select the subscription and click Cancel Subscription.
- Windows PC: open the Apple Music or Apple TV app, click your name, then View My Account. Under Settings, find Subscriptions and click Manage, then Edit next to the subscription, then Cancel Subscription.
- Android or any browser: for subscriptions billed by Apple, go to account.apple.com and sign in. If you pay for Apple Music or Apple TV through Google Play, cancel it in Google Play instead.
Why a subscription isn't on the list
The iPhone's list only shows what Apple bills. If you're paying for something that isn't there, one of these is almost always the reason:
- You subscribed on the company's website. A service you signed up for in a browser bills you directly. Apple's own advice is to check your bank or card statement for the company's name and cancel with that company.
- You used a different Apple Account. Some people have an old account from a previous phone or a work account. Sign in to each one to check.
- Google or your phone carrier bills it. Anything bought through Google Play, or bundled with a phone or internet plan, is billed there. Our guide to finding Google Play subscriptions covers the Google side.
- A family member bought it. With Family Sharing, a family member's purchases can be charged to the organizer's payment method.
What "apple.com/bill" on your statement means
Apple says apple.com/bill appears whenever you buy an app or content from Apple, when a subscription renews, and when a family member buys something. Several purchases can be grouped into one charge, which is why the amount often doesn't match any single price.
To see exactly what you paid for, sign in at reportaproblem.apple.com and look at your purchase history. If you still don't recognize the charge, check any other Apple Account you use, ask the people in your Family Sharing group, and then contact Apple Support.
How to ask Apple for a refund
- Go to reportaproblem.apple.com and sign in.
- Choose I'd like to, then Request a refund.
- Pick a reason, choose the item and submit.
Apple says to expect an update within 24 to 48 hours, and that eligibility depends on your country or region. A refund request is not the same as a cancellation: cancel the subscription as well, or it will renew.
Get the full picture once
Your iPhone shows Apple's subscriptions, Google Play shows Google's, and everything you pay for directly shows up only on your statements. The one-time fix is to go through two or three months of bank and card statements, write down every recurring charge with its renewal date, and cancel what you don't use. From then on, all you need is a list you actually look at and a reminder a few days before each renewal.
See every subscription in one list
GhostBill lists what you pay for, shows the real yearly total, flags the ones you've stopped using, and reminds you before each renewal. No bank login, and your data stays on your device.

How do I see all my subscriptions on my iPhone?
Settings, your name, Subscriptions. That shows everything billed by Apple. Subscriptions you pay for directly on a company's website, or through Google or your carrier, won't appear there; your bank statement is the only place that shows those.
How do I cancel an Apple subscription without an iPhone?
Sign in at account.apple.com in any browser, or use the App Store on a Mac, or the Apple Music or Apple TV app on a Windows PC.
If I cancel a free trial, can I keep using it until it ends?
Usually yes, you keep access for the rest of the trial. But Apple requires cancelling at least 24 hours before the trial ends, so don't leave it to the last day.
Can I get a refund after cancelling an Apple subscription?
Cancelling only stops future renewals. For a refund of a charge you've already paid, request one at reportaproblem.apple.com. Apple decides case by case, and eligibility varies by country.
Why can't I find the Cancel Subscription button?
Either it's further down the screen, or the subscription is already cancelled. If you see an expiry date in red instead of a button, it won't renew.
