The subscriptions, prices, dates, notes, and settings you enter are saved locally in your
browser using localStorage. This data lives on your device only. We — the
operators of GhostBill — cannot see it, and it is never transmitted to a server we control.
GhostBill deliberately does not connect to your bank, card, or email. There is no sign-up, no password, and no profile. This is a core design decision, not a limitation.
Our hosting provider may collect standard, anonymous, aggregated request logs (such as page views) to keep the service running and secure. These logs do not include your subscription data. If we ever add privacy-respecting analytics, we will update this page.
If you purchase GhostBill Pro, the payment is processed by Gumroad, our Merchant of Record. Gumroad handles your payment details and billing information under their privacy policy. We never see or store your card number.
You can export your data at any time as a JSON backup, CSV file, or calendar (.ics) file. Once exported, those files are yours and leave GhostBill's control — store them securely.
Because your data is stored in your browser, clearing your browser's site data — or using a different browser or device — will remove or not show your subscriptions. Keep a JSON backup if you want to move between devices.
GhostBill is not directed to children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect their data.
We may update this policy. Material changes will be reflected by the date above.
